Hi! Welcome to Everything Cats and Dogs. This week, there’s a pet product review, for cat treats. Before I get into this, please note that I am not being compensated in any way, shape or form for this review; these were purchased with my own money, in the generally accepted fashion, and I’m simply offering up my opinion and experience of the product being discussed. Your opinion and experience may vary from mine, and that’s perfectly valid.
If you’re a cat owner (as I am), you know that cat lick treats are something very popular with cats. They are, after all, neat (no treat crumbs to clean up after), convenient, etc., and cats themselves love them. However, they can be pricey little things.
So, when I found these, of all places, at the discount store, I figured they were worth a try to see if my cats would like them.
Beefeaters Cat Lick treats come in 3 flavors (beef, salmon, and tuna), and in single flavor and multi flavor packets.
Cutting straight to the chase with the relevant question: Do my cats like them?
It took a moment for Youngest Cat to understand the mechanics involved in the treat. I finally squeezed out the contents of the packet onto a small plate and let him lick that. The next time a lick treat was offered, he did much better; it just took a bit of practice and watching the older kitties (who took to these right away) for him to get with the lick treat program.
All in all, $1.25 for a package of 3 treats is not bad for occasional cat treats. I'll be buying these again.
3 paws up!!
I'm going to suggest these to a friend who's trying to balance a fixed income and a cat with a Churu addiction.
